Total Eye Care, 120 vegicaps
The National Eye Institute completed the AREDS Study (The Age-Related Eye
Disease Study) to determine if vitamin and mineral supplementation could
decrease the risk of AMD (Age-Related Macular Degeneration). They found that
high levels of anti-oxidants and zinc could decrease the risk of macular
degeneration by 25%. The researchers who performed this major clinical trial
also found that these same nutrients could decrease visual loss by 17%.
They concluded that while nutritional supplementation is not a cure for AMD,
it may be of significant value in preventing the disease from progressing
further or from progressing as quickly.
All of the nutrients in the AREDS Study are contained in Ray & Terry’s
Total Eye Care (when combined with the Ray & Terry Total Care Supplement)
as well as a number of other powerful nutrients such as bilberry, lutein and
zeaxanthin, which were not included in the original study.
The result — an even more powerful formulation to protect and nourish your
eyes, and, when combined with our Total Care and EPA/DHA formulations, the
rest of your body as well.
Four capsules of Total Eye Care contain:
For optimal results, the Ray & Terry Total Eye Supplement has been
designed to be used with Ray & Terry Total Daily Care Multi-Vitamin/
Mineral Formula with Antioxidants and Ray & Terry EPA/ DHA Marine Lipid
Complex. By combining these formulations, all nutrients are brought to
optimal levels without exceeding dosages. Very often when different
supplements are combined, you end up getting too much of some nutrients and
too little of others. The Ray & Terry Total Eye Care , Total Care and EPA/ DHA
supplements have been carefully designed to fit together so that precise
amounts of all nutrients are obtained without getting too much or too little
of any one.
